Night markets exist all over this sphere but the ones of the East are especially large and complex. A mirror flip of the material world, these markets host the denizens of the spiritual world. Youkai, spirits, demons, ghosts, blessed mortals, or simply a keen-sensed individual can peddle and visit the night market where one of a kind wares can be found.However, be wary of the peddlers that roam about...not all have your best interests in mind.

    DECREES

    be sure to adhere to the market rules to ensure a good time for all guests and vendors. failure to comply may result in you being asked to leave or banned from further attendance.

    1. First and Foremost: Due to being open world, we cannot designate the Market as an 18+ event but be aware mature content may be featured due to the nature of youkai and other spiritual entities.

    2. This is an open world event so even with mature themes, don't get yourself in trouble. Vendors cannot advertise NSFW services on their wares listing.

    3. We have a strict no tolerance policy for bigotry (homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc), lalafell lewding of ANY kind, harassment, drama, etc.

    4. If you are found to be harassing anyone, you will be asked to leave. You will be put on a watchlist and/or, if the offense is grave enough, be excluded from the event in the future.

    5. Absolutely no fighting on Market Grounds. You will be ICly banished from the Market. Spats can be taken outside the event area.

    6. Currency. Wares may be IC or actual items. However, only actual items can be charged with gil. There must be a transaction for a transaction.

    7. Bards are welcome. If their performances are not to your preference, please remember that you can turn off 'Performance' in the sound settings of your game under System Configuration --> Sound Settings --> Performance.

    8. Wifi is available. It will be purged every month. More details in the Discord rules channel.

    9. Mingle! Make new friends or enemies, kick off new plot points! Feel free to utilize the Discord to find others for RP once the Market is closed.

    LORE

    • This is a supernatural event! Once a month, Suiren Shrine staff escort vendors into the Night Market (also called the Ghost Market). Spirits, youkai, and other beings are present in the area.

    • The Market Master is Kuroyama no Hisoka, a tengu who is greatly in support of mortal/supernatural collaboration.

    • The Market exists in a pocket of reality and can only be entered by those with great spiritual talent, supernatural blood, great knowledge of the East, or through an escort.
